During the rower event, the scorer kneels or sits at 45 degrees and three feet from the Soldier’s
left or right hip, near the feet (refer to the illustrations below). The scorer counts the correct
number of repetitions out loud, repeats the last number of the correct repetitions when incorrect
repetitions are performed and verbally corrects rower performance. If a mat is used, the Soldier’s
entire body must remain on the mat throughout the duration of the event.
