Fort Campbell Soldier Arrested for having sex on front lawn
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A Fort Campbell soldier was arrested Sunday morning after police say he was engaging in sexual
intercourse on a front lawn. It happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Hiter Street, the Leaf Chronicle reported.
Upon their arrival, police said Justin Moore and Jennifer Cogdill were engaged in sexual activity. As the responding officer
exited his vehicle the pair separated, authorities said. Police said Moore, 25, and Cogdill, 34, both smelled of alcohol and
had slurred speech. Moore and Cogdill were each charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication. Their bonds were
set at $1,500 each.

In a unrelated incident, The Army Times reported that CSM Kurtis Timmer of the 200th MP
Command was suspended today following a drunk driving arrest that happened last week
near Fort Dix, New Jersey. CSM Timmer allegedly refused to take a breathalyzer test at the
time of the arrest. CSM Timmer is a decorated Soldier with combat experience and multiple
deployments under his belt so it is a real shame that his career gets over shadowed by this
